Equity Days 2014
Thank you to our members, staff, and the Co-op community for attending our 2014 Annual General Meeting and celebrate our 4th year of record sales in a row!
We would like to congratulate Martin Power and Kent Strobel for being elected to the Board of Directors as well as Dick Mayer for his re-election. We also bid farewell to Frank Braun and John Watt and would like to thank them both for their wealth of knowledge and passion to serve their community while sitting on our Board!
Hayden Dahlby from Chilliwack, BC is the recipient of a bicycle and helment from this years Kids' Club Easter Party. Congratulations Hayden!
In addition, Owen King, had the closest guess and won the Jelley Bean Guess Contest. Great job Owen!
The Maybins are the lucky winners of the trip for two to Normandy France in August of 2014.
They reside in Aldergrove, and with 17 horses at Hastings Race Track and another 20 approximately at home, they were able to enter multiple times. This well-travelled couple were very excited to win, and as Mr. Maybin commented, he didn’t believe it was his lucky day. Mrs. Maybin typically purchases the food and made sure every entry ballot went into the draw barrel.
It gives us great pleasure in knowing the winner of the draw has been supporting Otter Co-op for over 45 years.
To conclude, Otter Co-op thanks all participants for entering the draw; we received an incredible amount of tags and without your support, this never would happen. 50 other subsidiary prizes were drawn and those lucky winners will be contacted with their prize allotment.Congratulations again to the Maybins, it will be a trip of a lifetime!
